Here you can see the very end of the second Salpausselk\u00e4 ridge that was formed at the end of the last Ice Age appr. 11 000 years ago. The retreating ice sheet melted until a colder period started. The edge of the ice stopped at one place and that was how Salpausselk\u00e4 ridges were born.
